The "Suite" Sound of Winning! Montague Fires the Imagination with an Intriguing New Design Challenge. (July 2010)

Designers….imagine the chance to partner with a chef/operator to design the most intriguing, most versatile Island Cooking Suite ever created. Now see your design selected by a team of foodservice experts and from a wide variety of entries, as the most creative, most efficient cooking suite design submitted. And if you can see this, imagine your design, your partners' dream cooking suite, with a value of up to $200,000.00, built and awarded to their operation! Thanks to The Montague Company, this fantasy is about to become a reality.

With Montague, culinary dreams really do come true.

The premier manufacturer of the world's finest cooking equipment since 1857, Montague is setting the foodservice industry a-sizzle with the Montague Suite Dreams Design Challenge, an exciting competition that pairs a designer and chef/operator, and pits them against other pairs of like teams to create the ultimate kitchen suite design. Entry categories include 1. Clubs, 2. Restaurants,3. Institutional, 4. Hotels & Resorts and 5. International (outside the U.S.A.). The reward? Montague will manufacture the grand-prize winning design, and unveil it in a ceremony at The NAFEM Show 2011, in Orlando. But that's just the appetizer. Montague will then award the winning suite to the venue for which it was designed. Plus, the winning design team and operation will be featured in print and electronic ads in trade publications, and enjoy an expenses-paid trip to The NAFEM Show, 2011.

In addition, four first-place winning teams will be chosen from entry designs. Courtesy of Montague, they'll win travel and accommodations to The NAFEM Show as well.

Sure to stir the creative juices of a crowd known for its competitive spirit, the Montague Suite Dreams Design Challenge is an incredible opportunity for designers and chef/operators to show off their talents and set themselves apart, and bring famous Montague quality, versatility and innovation to their kitchens.

Rare "ingredients" for truly spectacular cooking suites.

Of course, Montague is no stranger to creating "world class cooking suites", having won the "Best-in-Class Cooking Suites" award by designers in FE&S six years running. Even before this contest, many considered custommade Montague Island Suites true works of art.

Engineered and custom-manufactured to exact requirements, a true expression of creativity and design, it's no wonder why Montague suites grace the kitchens of many of the world's top five-star restaurants, hotels and resorts. The name continues to be both requested and respected by chefs worldwide.

Suffice it to say, Montague Suite Dreams design teams will have an amazing array of possibilities for creating their masterpieces: pass-thru ovens; beautiful and durable one-piece mosaic countertops; and an array of cook top options that include induction, French tops, Plancha Grills and more. Still, there's no set "menu" for the competition. Montague's approach is, "If you can dream it, we can build it."

Calling those with culinary credentials.

The Montague Suite Dreams Design Challenge is open to professional foodservice equipment designers working in collaboration with a professional foodservice operator/chef as client on a foodservice concept in one of the five qualifying market segments. All interested teams must visit www.montaguecompany.com/suitedreams/ by October 8th, 2010 to register and review contest rules. The deadline for submissions is 5pm Pacific Standard Time, October 15, 2010. Winners will be notified by phone no later than November 3, 2010.

But the inside scoop from Montague suggests the competition is already well underway. So teams are encouraged to turn up the heat and start dreaming now.
