CRA to present an 'All-Star Lineup' at 2010 Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo
(SACRAMENTO, July 22, 2010) -- The California Restaurant Association is proud to announce its expanded presence at the 2010 Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center Aug. 14-16. The association will have three booths on the convention floor, each highlighting the strength of the restaurant industry and the value of CRA membership. The CRA also will host an All-Star Lineup of industry experts who will speak on a variety of issues confronting the industry, such disability-access reforms, state and local government affairs and tax updates from the Internal Revenue Service. "The Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo is a unique opportunity for California's restaurant community to come together to witness and share the latest innovations in the industry," said Jot Condie, President + CEO of the California Restaurant Association. "Our expanded presence reflects the growing optimism within our industry and demonstrates the critical role that CRA plays for California's restaurants." Each booth will have a distinct offering: •Booth No. 2313 will emphasize membership benefits for existing and prospective CRA members, as well as a prize wheel and beer tasting courtesy of Yard House restaurants. •Booth No. 1901 will feature the CRA Educational Foundation and its ProStart program, as well as participating high school students. CRAEF will collect donations for its Enhanced ProStart program, giving away free Charburger with cheese vouchers from the Habit Burger Grill to attendees who contribute $5 or more. •Booth No. 2417 will feature the All-Star Line-up.
