Tyson Food Service Introduces Bonici® Real World™ Pizza Toppings

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (August, 2011) -- Tyson Food Service Introduces Bonici® Real World™ toppings, a new line of pizza toppings created to help foodservice operators combat rising food costs. Today's pizza operators are currently being forced to compromise with lesser quality ingredients, fewer toppings on their pizzas, or sacrifice margins. With new Bonici® Real World toppings, operators have new options to reduce cost and protect their margins without reducing quality.

New fully cooked Real World toppings were created with the most popular flavor profiles of pizza crumbles in mind and are available in Italian, Bold Italian, Beef and Savory Pork flavored crumbles.

Each size was developed to emulate a made-from-scratch appearance and deliver on the features most important to pizza operators[i]. Consistent sizes from piece to piece also help create easier back-of-house portioning.

Bonici® Real World toppings are backed by the experience and expertise of the industry leader in pizza toppings, so pizza operators will not only discover greater profits and customer satisfaction with these new products, they will also have confidence they are providing a great eating experience with every serving.

For a Bonici® Real World toppings introductory free-case rebate offer, product specifications, and menu ideas beyond pizza, visit www.bonici.com, contact your Tyson Food Service sales representative or call 1-800-24-TYSON (1-800-248-9766).

What's Your Opinion of Legislation to Ban Smoking in Bars and Restaurants?

Reducing disease and death caused by smoking and secondhand smoke exposure is a major priority of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC Foundation has launched an initiative to provide restaurant and bar owners with scientific and experiential information on the impact of smoke-free policies on the hospitality industry. The initiative is designed to increase restaurant and bar owners’ understanding of the benefits of smoke-free policies, and has targeted operators in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina and Texas via a video series on YouTube. Click here to watch the videos and then tell us what you think of these efforts? If you own a restaurant in one of the six above states, please take the short survey below.

What do you think of state-wide legislation to ban smoking in restaurants and bars?
I enthusiastically promote such legislation.
I don't object to it, but I don't promote it.
I am neutral on the subject
I am against it because it would hurt my business.
I am against it because it is gov't intrusion.
I am opposed to it. Period.
